Empecé a bordar en punto sin darme cuenta cuando iba a la Facultad. Descubrí que es una actividad relajante y metódica.
Comencé por cosas pequeñas... un conejito de Pascuas, un corazón, un pollito. Los usé en tarjetas personales, en imanes para el refrigerador, en señaladores para libros. Como siempre sucede, mi familia y amigos fueron los primeros "clientes", mezcla de apoyo y, por qué no, admiración.
Luego compré revistas con patrones, algunos muy complejos, otros más a mi alcance de novata... y me largué! Hice desastres... hice cosas interesantes... hice cosas hermosas!
Lo que encontré más atrayentes son los cuadros y tapices: bordados grandes, con o sin muchos detalles, pero con la extensión suficiente para dedicarle meses de mi vida.
Hoy ya tengo varios terminados... guardados! Nunca supe qué hacer con ellos más allá de admirarlos de vez en cuando, con esa vocecita en mi cabeza que me dice "los hiciste vos!! Wow!!"
Tras el empuje de mi hermano me decidí a exhibirlos y ofrecerlos en venta desde este blog. Si te gustan, si te interesan, contactame.
Puedo hacer réplicas de patrones ya hechos o armar un patrón desde una imagen o fotografía (bendito software que nos ayuda!).

I started embroidering back when I was in College without even knowing why. I realized it’s a methodic and relaxing activity.
At the beginning I just made small pieces: an Easter bunny, a heart, a small chicken, on personal cards, fridge magnets and bookmarks. As usual, my family and friends where my first “customers” due to support and (why not!) admiration.
Then I bought magazines and got patterns, some complex, others within my reach as a rookie, and I dove into it! I made it wrong, I made some interesting things, I made some beautiful pieces!
I realized what I love the most are big embroideries, the ones you can frame or use as carpets or tapestry, those ones that demand months of dedication!
I have many pieces finished and ready… and stored! I never knew what to do with them except admiring them once in a while, with that little voice in my head saying “you made those! Wow!”
Following my brother's idea I decided to show and offer them on this blog. If you like them, if you are somehow interested in them, please, contact me. I can replicate patterns or create a new pattern from an image or picture (blessed software that helps us out!).
