¿Nunca tuvieron ese pequeño inconveniente de encontrar un patrón para bordar cuyas referencias estuviesen en una marca de hilo que no tienen? ¡Estoy segura que sí!
Actualmente estoy trabajando en un diseño que emplea hilos DMC, pero a donde vivo esta marca es casi imposible conseguir en surtido y cantidad, por lo cual tuve que recurrir a las famosas tablas de conversión de marcas.
Buceando por la web encontré varias tablas interesantes, pero a fin de cuentas, uno siempre vuelve a las más simples, a las que en un sólo lugar contienen todas las referencias necesarias para trabajar con rapidez y confianza. Have you ever faced that little problem of finding a cross stitch pattern based on a floss brand you don't have? I'm pretty sure you have!
I'm currently working on a pattern for DMC floss, but I can't find a good stocked store for DMC, so I had to work with color conversion tables.

Alfombrilla con rosas - Little carpet with roses

 

 

Les presento mi último trabajo: una alfombrilla con rosas. Esta labor me llevó todo el 2010, ya que le pude dedicar escasos ratos y decidí cubrir toda la tela con el bordado. ¡Es una artesanía de principio a fin!
Hacía bastante tiempo que quería realizarla, pero viendo el tamaño de semejante tarea solía dejarla de lado "para más adelante". Bueno, aquí pueden apreciar todo el esfuerzo invertido y la belleza de su resultado. ¡Es uno de mis más grandes orgullos!


Here I present my latest embrodery: a little carpet with roses. This work took all my 2010 because I dedicated my time to it only here and there, and as you can see, I decided to stitch all the fabric. It's a real piece of art!
I'd wanted to do this for a long time now, but when I mesured up the enterprise I always decided to leave it "for later". Well, here you can appreciate all the invested effort and time, and the beauty of the result. I'm very proud of it!
